May work for hanging pictures but not for even light remodeling…
I really don’t see how reviewers can compare this laser level to similar “professional” ones.

After reading some of the raving reviews and seeing that the level was available real cheap, I decided it was worth a try; I thought I’d use it to help level some joists while refinishing my attic.

Unfortunately, the laser beam is very weak. It’s never very bright, and rapidly fades away from the center. So while it may be visible out to ten feet (the product claims 20), you only get a visible line on either side of the center cross for a few degrees. Just a few feet of projected line seems functionally equivalent to a point.

In fact, I can’t even see using it to hang pictures. A single picture is easy enough with a vial level, and this laser level won’t project a long enough line to use for a wall full of frames.

As other reviewers have suggested, if you need a laser level (to make snapping chalk lines a one-person job, for example), you’re much better off spending real money to get a real level to project either a line or a few points at right angles to each other.

Almost perfect!
If the lasers went just alittle further…. It would be 5 stars all around! Batteries seem to last a good while too!

Fuzzy out of focus line…
Sent the item back… the laser line was fuzzy/out of focus… NOT GOOD for me…

Great Filter
Work wekk and as advertised although there is a constant back up of carbon particles into the water BEING filtered – fyi of no concern.

Once I purchased bottled water regulary, but amazing amount of empty bottle piled up everyday. I gave up the bottled water, because my apartment does not run recycling system. Now, I mostly use filtered tap water by Brita pitcher. About the replacement filter from Amazon.com, I think they always try to offer the best price. So,I’ll purchase here for next time.

Great Product~
This product works very well. I use these for filtering water in my water dispenser. It makes the water taste so much better. It really gets rid of all those nasty chemicals in the water. And they work for a couple of weeks, about two months. You just let them soak first in some water for about twenty minutes and you’re all set.

The filters go with either the pitcher or the water dispensers, as long as they’re made by Brita. I got the ten pack because I can save the most money without having to reorder them every couple of weeks.

Starlight Turtle
This is such a fun item. My 7 year old still puts in on every night. It is very soothing. I think when my kids are tired of it I will take it and use it. I love it so much I am giving it away as a gift this Christmas.

My 4-year-old loves it!
A great night light, my son loves to fall asleep to it. In a dark room the green and especially blue stars are bright and crisp. The amber stars are more fuzzy and gives the room a darker, cozier feel. This would make a great gift for not just a baby, but an older kid too.

Expensive, but my kids love it.
I tried different night lights for my 3 and 1 year old daughters’ bedroom. My husband think the plug-in night light are not safe since the kids can pull it out now. Then I found this turtle night light. We have been using it for more than a month. We all love it, and I have recommended to a few friends with little kids.

The only problem we have is I cannot find a perfect place to put the turtle. I can only put it on a top of a dresser.

I just finished reading this the other night and even though it was extremely long…… I still really liked it! I’m not going to go over the story because there are alot of other reviews with that on there. I’ve read the first two books and absolutly loved em’! I just thought that it was a little longer than it really needed to be. I found myself thinking “Goodness get to the point!” in certain chapters. But I still found myself not wanting to put it down! If you have read the first two books in this sequal and you liked/loved them, then you will really enjoy this book.

Great Book
This might be the best book so far in the series. Once you start reading the book, you can hardly put it down, I read the entire book in a weekend. I am not sure what to say about those who gave the book less than 3 stars, I have read far worse books. I can’t wait for book 4, it should be even better. I read a book about every other week, so I think I have a better than most feel for a what a good book is and what a bad one is, and this is a good read.

More Gary Stu Goodness
Paolini does not seem to have improved much since the first book. His dialog remains stiff and formal, his prose is as purple as ever, and really this book could have been shaved down into the finale.
